A NOTE FROM THE COLORING TABLE

How to print your custom coloring pages

Choose A4 or US Letter, save a coloring page as a PDF, and keep the outlines inside your printer margins.

Choose the paper in your printer

Select US Letter for 8.5 × 11 inch paper or A4 for 210 × 297 mm paper in the download controls. The PDF uses that paper size and the orientation you chose for the illustration. Match these settings in your printer dialog.

Use PDF for a predictable page

The PDF places the image in the center of the selected sheet with a white margin. Save the file, open it in your usual PDF viewer, and choose a fit-to-printable-area setting. Print one sample before making several copies.

Keep browser printing clean

The Print page action opens a printable view of the image. In the print dialog, turn off headers and footers to remove the page address and date. If the browser blocks the print window, download the PDF and print that file instead.

Pick PNG for other activities

A PNG is useful when adding the illustration to a document or coloring it with a drawing app. The generated image is raster artwork, so enlarging it beyond its original dimensions may soften the outlines. The PDF preserves the image rather than converting it into vectors.
